Dr. Franklin came to FDV in 2002 following a 25-year career in Family Medicine in the U.S. Army. Dr. Franklin is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Michigan State University and received his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD. Dr. Franklin held patient care and leadership roles at Army hospitals around the country. He is a veteran of Operation Desert Storm, and has earned numerous awards including the Bronze Star. Dr. Franklin is board certified in Family Medicine and as a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. His wife Terri is a native of Cassopolis, MI and is Coordinator of Senior Programs for South County Community Services in Vicksburg. He treats children and adults of all ages. The Franklins have two sons, Matt and Jeremy.
