Dr. Houchin is a native of Indiana. He received his undergraduate degree from Anderson University graduating Summa Cum Laude, and his Medical Degree from Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Houchin graduated with distinction and is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha. He is Board Certified in Family Practice. He completed the Family Practice residency in Grand Rapids, Michigan. After additional experience in the Navy, Dr. Houchin joined Family Doctors of Vicksburg in 1999. As a family practitioner, Dr. Houchin sees infants through adults. His wife Kristi is a nurse practitioner. They have three sons, Jakob, Samuel and Benjamin.
