Dr. Schriemer is a native of West Michigan and completed his undergraduate education at Hope College, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He received his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School with Alpha Omega Alpha honors. He then completed a residency in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Virginia where he was chief resident. Dr. Schriemer came to Vicksburg in 1989. He is Board Certified in Family Practice and sees all members of the family from infants to adults. Dr. Schriemer's wife Paula is an anesthesiologist in Kalamazoo. The Schriemers have three children, Daniel, Clara and Anna.
